Friendship Place - Working to stop poverty in its tracks!!

Charlie Ball has been the executive director of Friendship Place since 2000. Prior to joining Friendship Place, Charlie served for seven and half years as an infantry officer in the army.  After leaving the army, he worked for International Paper as a process manager.  His education includes a BS from the United States Military Academy, West Point, NY 1989, an MBA from Webster University, Fort Sam Houston, Texas 1996, and Executive Education Courses, The John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, Cambridge, MA  2012. Charlie is married with three children.

Friendship Place is actively working to stop generational poverty in our community.  Georgetown Works is a new approach modeled after a nationally recognized, proven program to help our neighbors get to work, stay at work, and advance at work.
